The Aerospace Research Students’ Symposium (AERES) took flight from January 17 to January 20, 2023, providing a vital platform for MTech and PhD students in the department to spotlight their research endeavors. Moreover, AERES forged invaluable industry connections through workshops and keynote speeches. Notable industry leaders, including Geoff Hunt, Senior VP at Pratt & Whitney, and Ravikanth Avancha, Technology Manager at GE Research, shared their insights, shaping discussions on the trajectory of aerospace technology. Additionally, Prof. Srisha Rao provided invaluable insights into career options after a PhD. The event was concluded by a captivating cultural performance by the Geetanjali Group.
